Ovoko co-founder Justinas became a scrapyard owner back in 2014. He needed a way to keep track of the parts available for sale and help customers find what they needed. With different needs and expectations to meet, he wanted to have a log for all the car parts that were available for sale. Excel did the job, but was there a better solution for all the scrapyard owners out there? There wasn’t.
That’s where the second co-founder, Olegas, comes in. Working hand in hand since 2016, Justinas and Olegas created Ovoko – a digital catalog and a marketplace under one roof.
A solution to one scrapyard’s everyday challenges has grown into a platform connecting thousands of scrapyards with buyers across Europe.
At the time, the answer was no – and that’s where the second co-founder, Olegas, comes in. Working hand in hand since 2016, Justinas and Olegas created Ovoko – a digital catalog and a marketplace under one roof. Today, it is a virtual home for 2000+ scrapyards (and counting), boasting a selection of 8+ million car parts for sale.
