About the role

The Account Executive will lead supplier acquisition in Romania for Ovoko. In this role, the Account Executive will be responsible for qualifying, pitching, closing, and onboarding used car parts sellers who are a good fit for Ovoko. It will be crucial to not just bring them on board, but also turn them into well-informed and well-functioning partners. The Account Executive will be one of the first team members on the ground, playing a vital role in making our market entry a success.

In this role, you will

  • Identify and acquire new supply partners for Ovoko through B2B sales
  • Be responsible for the entire deal cycle: from finding leads to sealing the deal and getting them started.
  • Travel around the region to meet potential suppliers and close deals.
  • Partner with the Area Management team to ensure a seamless transition of support
  • Work closely with the supplier support team in order to minimise defect rates
  • Decide on the best tools and methods to find good suppliers at the right price.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of experience, preferably in sales, business development, or related fields.
  • A driven individual who thrives on taking initiative and contributing to Ovoko’s growth.
  • A “hunter” who enjoys finding new leads and closing deals.
  • Familiarity with digital tools and a basic understanding of software/database integration.
  • Open mindedness and ability to quickly adapt to the changing environment
  • Willingness to adapt to changes in a startup environment.
  • Bonus points to experience in the automotive industry
  • Previous experience in B2B field sales and/or marketplace startups would be a big plus
  • Native Romanian & good English skills
