About the role

Our People team is the engine that powers our organization. We handle every aspect of the employee lifecycle and we’re known for creating exceptional experiences for our candidates and employees. As our Learning and Development Partner, you’ll shape the learning landscape, enhance and nurture Ovoko’s learning culture. You’ll be designing and executing learning initiatives that propel our employees and the company towards success. In this role, you will

  • Be the first L&D Partner within the company – develop and implement learning strategies from scratch!
  • Build, lead, and execute diverse learning and development programs, tailored to current employee needs and required future competencies aligned with organizational goal;
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, managers, People Business Partners, and other stakeholders to evaluate individual and organizational development needs and create relevant training programs;
  • Implement, run, and own performance management process, ensuring alignment with organizational growth objectives;
  • Help managers in the development of their team members through career planning and identification of future competencies needed;
  • Monitor the success of development plans optimizing employee performance and supporting career growth. Encourage employees to make the most of learning opportunities;
  • Oversee budgets, negotiate contracts and ensure cost-effective solutions for training initiatives;
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in training & development. Foster a culture of continuous learning within the organization.

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as an L&D Manager, Training Lead or other similar role (in fast-growing companies is a plus);
  • Experience and knowledge of effective learning and development methods, learning management systems and practices;
  • Outstanding communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills;
  • Genuine passion for learning and development, eagerness to contribute to fostering a culture of knowledge-sharing and growth;
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-informed decisions;
  • Hands-on, action-oriented attitude and strong sense of ownership. Ability to perform without constant guidance in a fast-paced and continuously shifting environment;
  • Excellent spoken and written English.

Salary

The offered salary range for this position starts at 4000 (gross) per month. Please keep in mind that we are open to discuss your salary expectations based on your competencies and experience.
